Dr. Obi Ugwonali, M.D is our Clinical Research and Product Development Advisor for Orthopedics and Pain Management. He is a graduate Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA where he double majored in biology and economics. He received his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT and is an alumnus of the Columbia University Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Ugwonali is currently the Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at Northside Hospital and Medical Director of Peachtree Orthopedic Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Ugwonali has an extensive clinical and research background, having performed a clinical and research fellowship at the prestigious Harvard School of Medicine.

He also did a clinical research fellowship year during his residency at the prestigious Columbia University Orthopedic Surgery department. Dr. Ugwonali has published several peer-reviewed manuscripts and has several local and national presentations and book chapters. Dr. Ugwonali is double board-certified in orthopedic surgery and hand surgery. As the chairman of orthopedic surgery at Northside

Hospital, he has established a hip fracture program that utilizes a multi-modal pain management technique to minimize the use of narcotics with this elderly population. Dr. Ugwonali has also received the prestigious honor of being named one of Atlanta's Top Docs for 2017 and 2018. Ultimaxx Health is honored to have him.
