Lou, with over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry has acquired significant experience in many disciplines from sales and marketing to clinical and finance. Most recently Lou attained the level of President and CEO for Savient Pharmaceutical, a publicly traded company. Prior to his role at Savient, he was on the Board of Directors at Centocor-Ortho Biotech a Johnson and Johnson Company and served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Oncology and Nephrology. Over the years he has obtained a great deal of experience in many different disease state categories such as Analgesics, Rheumatology, Oncology, Anti-Infectives, Nephrology, Urology, and Cardiology.
The diversity of experience has prepared him to handle any situation in business that may arise. Lou has experienced and overcome many significant challenges, but has never lost sight of what this industry stands for; to help improve the quality of life of consumers. Lou has made a difference within the industry and will continue to make a difference in the lives of consumers, patients, their families, and caregivers.
Lou earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy and is Licensed in NY, NJ and Florida and has his MBA from Adelphi University. Lou also served as an ASCP Committee Chair, Provider Status Task Force. Ultimaxx Health is honored to have Lou as its Senior Advisor for Global Commercialization Strategy.
